Teuta Pashnjari, born in Albania, discovered her artistic calling from a very young age through her father's drawings. Raised on Corfu Island, she cultivated her aspirations to become a fine artist. Starting her Fine Art Bachelor's Degree in Finland in 2019, Pashnjari delved into her creative journey. In 2022, she took her passion to Paris for an exchange semester at ICART, école d'art et de culture.
Currently residing in Berlin, Teuta has exhibited her work in numerous group exhibitions, headlined two solo exhibitions, and taken part in various international film festivals.
Pashnjari's art delves into human connections with a philosophical touch, drawing inspiration from her life stories. Her paintings and projects create a dreamy atmosphere, blending past, present, and future. Notably, her choice of color is intricately linked to the environment and weather of her surroundings, imbuing her work with a dynamic and responsive aspect. Each stroke of the brush or meticulously arranged textile serves as a nuanced reflection of the emotional landscapes she seeks to capture. Pashnjari expresses herself across various mediums, including painting, video art and textile installations.
